Numnuts® & MerlinVet at the Royal Highland Show 2026
MerlinVet and Numnuts® will be exhibiting at the
Royal Highland Show 2026 at Ingliston in Edinburgh from Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st June.

Following on from Scotsheep at Wedderlie Farm, we're looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand at RHS 2026. Try Numnuts out on our demo lamb, Baaarry and enter our competition with prizes on offer! You’ll be able to find us amongst the sheep in the NSA Marquee, highlighted on the map below:

At MerlinVet UK, we offer a customised pharmaceutical service, importing pharmaceuticals and farm fertility equipment to UK vets. We are the UK's biggest supplier of Special Import Products and have a wide range of medicines, supplements, and equipment covering companion animal, farm animal, and equine. We are additionally the proud stockist of Numnuts®, a 2-in-1 device that administers an Elastrator® ring along with a pre-calibrated dose of local anaesthetic making tail docking and castration of lambs easy, fast and safe.
The Royal Highland Show provides a perfect platform to showcase MerlinVet and Numnuts to an engaged audience of farmers and the wider public alike. Numnuts' ethical approach to lambing methods is well-aligned with the RHS's commitment to animal welfare; we're able to spread awareness of our lamb castration and tail docking device with anaesthetic delivery, which promotes conformity with Scottish legislation and overall wellbeing of lambs.
MerlinVet is once again sponsoring the Hampshire Down class, to be judged at 09.00 on Friday 19th June by Mr Allen McFadden, County Down, Northern Ireland. You can find full information on the livestock schedule here.

What is Numnuts?
Numnuts® is a 2-in-1 device that administers an Elastrator® ring along with a pre-calibrated dose of local anaesthetic. This device makes giving fast-acting targeted pain relief for castration and tail docking of lambs easy, fast, and safe. No other device exists that allows farmers and vets to provide targeted pain relief to lambs during tail docking and castration.
